By the initiative of Kutaisi City Hall , the aqua park.has hosted the 40 care for deprived children . The Mayor of Kutaisi Giorgi Tevdoradze declared that “ We want to give these children a one happy day “,except the Children's Village," "The Bress - Georgia’s” teenagers Euro park has invited the children of dead parents in the war in August.

 The new elected City Council discussed the appointment of Kutaisi new Mayor on it’s upgoing meeting on June 21st. The head of the City Council – Mr. Amiran Khvadagiani presented the ex Mayor - Mr. Giorgi Tevdoradze’s candidacy for the possition of Kutaisi Mayor.

Today, the new elected City Council has gathered in Kutaisi. Kutaisi City Council with the composition of 25 members, ellected Mr. Amiran Khvadagiani on the possition of the Chairman of the City Council with the 21 votes against 4. The ex rector of Kutaisi Technical University – Mr. Amiran Khvadagiani was elected on abovementioned possition with the second term. He run the Kutaisi City Council in 2006-2010 before. The Vice Chairman of the City Council, head of the commissions and two of the praction chairs were elected as well. There will be 5 commissions and 2 practions in Kutaisi City Council. 21 members are from the United National Movement and 4 from oppositional parties.

 I LOVE KUTAISI. The celebration of May 2nd was held even a century before in Kutaisi, accompanying with chamomile festival, horse-race, public debates, charity performance and common social solemnity in the boulevard. Gymnasium students were arranging the cheap lottery among the people walking down the avenue, donating for the “Society of Literal Diffusion”.
