Today Economic Attaché of the Polish Embassy Pierre Primilov and President of Polish Chamber of Commerce Marcin Rutovich visited Kutaisi City Hall
The meeting was attended by the Head of Foreign Relations and International Projects Department, Shorena Khukhua and the Head of Economic Development, Local Self-Government Property and Transport Management Service, Giorgi Giorgobiani. In the frames of the meeting, except the development of Georgian Polish relations, the issue of future cooperation between Kutaisi and Wroclaw was also discussed. They also discussed the areas of possible partnership and planned an official visit in Wroclaw by the invitation of Polish side. During the meeting, Giorgi Giorgobiani talked about economic and investment opportunities of the city, foreseen energy efficient activities and needs under the framework of “Sustainable Action Plan of the Energy’’ (SEAP). It should be noted that Polish side was interested in the city's street lighting system with energy saving Avg issues, climate change mitigation for the promotion of alternative energy, public transport lanes and infrastructure development. The sides agreed to deepen further partnerships and to share Polish experience in these fields.
